Tiffany Turner has started a new venture. After moving to a small town in Northern California, Mrs. Turner was faced with what to do in her retirement from teaching. She discovered all sorts of fun things to do. She explored ceramics at the Calistoga Art Center and made a lot of friends, along with passable pottery.
She enjoyed gardening, walking about town, and her passion for writing. The writing never stopped. She continued to publish picture books as well as other romance books under a different pen name, Marilyn Vix. Recently, she even tried writing short 10-Minute plays, and was picked this last year to be a part of the 2025 UpStage Napa Valley PlayFest. But she wanted to try to start a small business. Something that would make her jump out of bed in the morning.
Mrs. Turner thought about her storytelling and speaking abilities as a retired teacher, her love for history, and paranormal investigating. Then, checking around, she realized there was no ghost tour in her new small town. After researching and putting together a lot of research and stories, she came up with her Calistoga Ghost Tours which features a walk around the downtown sites of Calistoga. Now after two seasons, she is looking forward to running the third season next year. The ghost tour runs beginning of May through Nov. 1. So, if you are ever in town, be sure to look up the experience.
